We are looking for a creative, organised and intelligent Marketing Assistant who is ready to collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager and support the growth of our marketing initiatives.

Our mission is to transform the International Payments space in South Africa through premium support, automation, innovation, and complete transparency. In addition to our forex service, we continue to enhance our Crypto Asset Arbitrage investment product, which continues to yield returns leagues ahead of traditional investments.

The opportunity

The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Manager in co-ordinating comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns and communications to promote Future Forex’s services.

This role requires a creative, organised, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with various teams.

What you’ll do

  • Marketing Campaign assistance: Support the Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, etc.).
  • Event Co-ordination: Organise, plan, and oversee all Future Forex’s external marketing events, i.e., organise branded merchandise, assist with stand arrangement, etc.
  • Ad Hoc Content Creation: Assist in creating content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and email campaigns as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including sales and product teams, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing activities.
  • Newsletter Co-ordination: Assist the Marketing Manager with producing and distributing the Future Forex monthly newsletter.
  • External PR Agency support: Assist the Marketing Manager in overseeing the activities of our external PR agency. This includes proofreading articles, assisting with commentary on current affairs, attending weekly meetings etc.
  • Ad Hoc Email Communication: Assist with the creation and distribution of Future Forex’s client mailers as needed.

What you’ll need

  • Technical literacy & competency (i.e. you’re able to easily learn new systems).
  • Prior marketing experience would be beneficial, but not essential (e.g. Paid and Organic Social Media Marketing, Google Ads, Meta Ads etc).
  • Experience with platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp etc., would be a bonus, but not essential.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable as a self-starter working remotely.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient in multitasking, adept at handling multiple responsibilities and managing projects concurrently.
  • Strong time management skills, enabling efficient and organised completion of tasks within designated timelines.
