The opportunity

To grow our client base, we seek a dynamic (Senior) Business Development Manager (BDM/SBDM) who excels in conducting client calls and delivering compelling sales pitches to promote our forex service. The BDM/SBDM’s primary objective is to secure client onboardings while cultivating lasting relationships. Additionally, the BDM/SBDM will oversee a team of Junior Sales Developers (JSDs) tasked with arranging client calls. The BSM/SBDM will lead these calls and subsequently follow up with clients to secure their agreement to onboard.

What you’ll do

  • Initially, acquire a comprehensive understanding of Future Forex’s Sales Process.
  • Initiate and conduct cold meetings with potential forex clients until full mastery is achieved.
  • Lead and manage a team of JSDs, ensuring they are trained on the systems, processes, and tools they need to use.
  • Motivate and inspire the JSDs to maximise individual and collective performance.
  • Guiding JSDs in effectively managing their sales pipelines and associated tasks.
  • Conduct meetings set up by the JSDs and respond to website lead inquiries.
  • Lead pitch sessions, negotiate pricing and facilitate both online and in-person closing.
  • Conduct live pricing analysis meetings with clients, covering exchange rates and forward exchange contracts.
  • Effectively interpret and analyse forex deal confirmations to determine the rates offered by current suppliers to potential clients.
  • Proactively follow up with clients in various stages of the sales process.
  • Facilitate cost comparisons and provide regular updates to the Head of Business Development.
  • Attend conferences in person, representing Future Forex and fostering valuable connections.
  • Manage relationships with onboarded clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Oversee referrers of Future Forex, ensuring a steady influx of new clients.
  • Facilitate a seamless handover of clients to Account Managers once onboarding is complete.
  • Maintain ongoing oversight of client satisfaction and experience.

What you’ll need

  • Ideally, a Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited university.
  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
  • Strong motivational skills to inspire and lead a team.
  • Exceptional administrative and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills within a remote team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Technical literacy & competency with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Fluent in English.
